Theatrhythm: Curtain Call - Summons and cards showcased in new trailers **UPDATE**Knights of the Round, ASSEMBLE!
Just like a Tonberry moves slowly towards its prey, we're inching closer to the japanese release date of Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy - Curtain Call. Naturally, Square Enix wants to promote the 3DS rhythm game heavily - especially since the development team put over 200 songs into it.
A pair of trailers shows us two particular features of the game. One is already known to those who played the previous installment: Certain sections of the songs will provide you with the chance to call a mighty Summon which will wreck your opponent's day. The second clip focuses on the CollectaCards. While they existed in the original Theatrhythm, they were of no practical use there. This time around you will be able to use these cards to power up your characters.
Curtain Call is set to be released on April 24 - at least in Japan. Whether the game will make it to European shores unclear as of yet.
**UPDATE**
Still not enough video footage for you? You're in luck, then! Two more trailers appeared recently, one of which giving you a quick rundown of everything Curtain Call has to offer while the other one - with a running time of 20 minutes! - presents the included songs from Final Fantasy I through VII.
